Our Vision, Mission and Goals

Vision

Our vision is a world where people with young onset dementia are supported to live as actively and independently as they want and can participate in their local community, for as long as possible, when they can no longer live at home.

Mission

To address the lack of appropriate specialist housing to care for people with young onset dementia, by creating a blueprint for supported living in Oxfordshire which provides high quality, affordable, long-term accommodation for residents and support for their families and carers.

Our ‘home from home’ will provide an exemplary model of independent living, welcoming friends and family life and promoting social integration. We will also raise awareness of the needs of younger people living with dementia.

Goals

To pioneer a unique supported-living facility which has been specifically designed to promote the health, well-being and independence of residents, and is a welcoming place for family and partners to visit and stay
To provide a seamless transition into our planned home for those with young onset dementia and provide a high quality, personalised, well-being support package for residents
To work with health and social care services and other organisations to ensure that people are appropriately referred and evaluate the impact of our services on people’s quality of life, health and wellbeing
