Our History

YoungDementia UK Homes was set up in 2009 by YoungDementia UK (YDUK) to take on the role of developing supportive accommodation for people with young onset dementia when they can no longer live safely at home. YDUK initiated the venture following a donation of £500,000 from the Bray D’Oyly Housing Association.

YDUK, which began as the Clive Project in 1998, has grown to become a nationally recognised organisation involved in delivering exemplary face to face services to people with young onset dementia in Oxfordshire. YDUK provide extensive information, advice and signposting to other useful resources for people with young onset dementia and their carers on their website at www.youngdementiauk.org
